Head of Tobacco Control Unit
Biography
Luc Lebon leads the tobacco control team of Unisanté since 2021. He coordinates the implementation of the Vaud cantonal programme for tobacco control.
He holds a master's degree in medical biology from the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and a doctorate in science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
He has been in charge of tobacco prevention projects at the Vaud Lung Association and has solid experience in programme management, analysis and communication.
His research interests include trends in consumption, identifying industry influence practices, as well as the effectiveness, acceptance and implementation of tobacco control policies.
He is a member of the French-speaking Society for Smoking Cessation (SFT) and of the committee of the Swiss Association for Tobacco Control (AT).
