Federal parliamentarians' view of health since the KVG/LAMal came into force

Icon economics systems

The aim of this project is to analyze federal parliamentary debates on health-related issues that have been put to the vote since the KVG/LAMal came into force, using public data on written reports of parliamentary debates. A textual analysis  of the corpus established with the softwares IRAMuTeq and Lexico will be carried out, highlighting the determining variables structuring the discourse, in particular the political party, the canton represented, the year, and so on. The corpus will then enable research by type of subject, by theme (e.g. prevention, tobacco, LAMal, etc.), or by period. A monitoring system will enable the database to be updated for future analyses.
