MÜLLER CHABLOZ Yolanda

Biography
After studying medicine in Fribourg and Lausanne, Dr Müller Chabloz pursues her clinical training between 2001 and 2008 in general internal medicine and tropical medicine, between Fribourg, Lausanne, Uganda and Cambodia. In parallel, she obtains a Master's degree in International Health from the University of Basel and gets her first taste of clinical research at the PMU's Centre for Vaccination and Travel Medicine in Lausanne.
From 2009 to 2015, she works as an epidemiologist at Epicentre, an entity supporting Doctors without Borders for operational research. She develops methodological skills and gains extensive experience of conducting research projects in diverse contexts. Her work focuses on neglected tropical diseases, in particular visceral leishmaniasis and Buruli ulcer.
Between 2014 and 2016, she joins the University Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine in Lausanne, in a position dedicated to coordinating communicable diseases for the cantonal authorities in French-speaking Switzerland.
She joins Family Medicine at Unisanté (formerly the Policlinique Médicale Universitaire) in 2015 as a study coordinator, before taking over as head of clinical research in Family Medicine in 2017. She develops diverse and pragmatic clinical research, focusing on the development and implementation of innovative tools in family medicine.
In recent years, her work focusses on management of common infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship in the ambulatory sector.
